Ranking Methodology

How live standings and monthly winners are calculated from valid fan votes.

Live standings

Live standings are ordered by valid votes recorded during the current ranking period. The leaderboard updates as voting activity is processed.

Monthly results

At the end of a monthly period, final vote totals determine the published monthly results and Hall of Fame entries. CineClash may exclude invalid or abusive activity before finalising results.

Battle selection

Battle selection and other in-app features can use additional signals to keep matchups competitive; they do not replace the published vote totals used for rankings.
